These are words I never thought I would hear myself say. Tonight when America gathers around their household fires to learn their fate, they will receive the news that Fifth Harmony is their new X Factor champion.
Two months ago, there wasn’t a singing contest pundit alive who would have thought this possible. Even two days ago there wasn’t. But now it will happen. It goes to show that in the gladiator’s arena of competitive singing, fate is the cruelest of mistresses, held in the hands of capricious tweens. And on their whims the fates of middle aged country stars like Tate Stevens must perish.
Never before have the tweens been so willful and tonight, a nation will pay the price. I explain how we got to this place over at BuzzFeed.
