Morons though the Academy be, the march of Kiki kicked into its next stage this week at Sundance. After the best dramatic performance of last year in Melancholia, those who have seen her turn as a coke snorting latter day mean girl in the dark comedy Bachelorette, showing this week at the festival, are raving about her performance.
Pivoting from comedy to drama in films that have and shortly will attract a ton of attention from discerning audiences, Kirsten is set to run the table and at last, make it clear to anyone who cares about the arts or the state of mankind that she belongs at the top rung of young actressdom.
