I hereby urge a six year boycott of NBC in protest of its desecration of Frank Loesser’s memory. (If anyone is still watching NBC)
Take one of the most hilarious musical finales in history - replace it’s gentle irony with knowing smugness when you don’t even know what the joke you’re referring to is - and you have the formula of the backslapping, self-loving world of NBC comedy.
